H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training)


HIIT has recently become one of the most popular forms of exercise due to its long-lasting calorie burning effects from a short session. After a 5 minute warm up we begin the regime with 20 minutes of work and recovery intervals. We use Tabata and Gibala regimes among others (different work/recovery times) and vary each session so your body does not have chance to adapt and plateau. A mixture of body weight and resistance exercise is also used to ensure you receive a full body workout and maintain a heart rate of between 85-90%MHR (Maximum Heart Rate) throughout. Each member receives a heart rate monitor and rates are shown on the screen during the session to ensure the correct intensity is being reached. You also receive an emailed report of your session showing calories burned, training intensity and more.

Due to the high intensity element of this class it is not suitable for complete beginners.
