So what exactly makes training at Banhus so unique?
There are a lot of gyms and Personal Trainers to choose from once you’ve made that decision to invest in getting yourself fitter and healthier but choosing the right one for you can be hard, especially as there is often a large financial commitment at the start.
Mark and I had a clear vision of how we wanted our studio to operate when we opened 7 years ago as well as a definite idea of what we didn’t want. Having had experience as both a member and a Personal Trainer in many gyms we were adamant that every one of our clients would feel welcomed and more importantly comfortable at Banhus. We work hard to maintain this friendly environment.
Nearly 70% of gym members never use their membership, that’s a lot of people paying out monthly and as we know, just paying a gym membership isn’t going to get you fit! If you are willing to invest in your health then you should be receiving the service you are paying for.
We are aware that people respond to different methods and environments and that Banhus studio doesn’t suit everyone. Our clients are focused individuals who like to get in, be coached through a bespoke session then get on with their day knowing they have trained in a challenging, effective and safe way getting them one step closer to their goal.
One of the most important aspects of our service and one that makes us unique is that a Banhus Coach will not train anyone without having a full Biomechanics assessment first. We have seen many clients arrive who have sustained injury through training without initially identifying potential incorrect movement patterns. Embarking on an intensive training schedule could further compound underlying issues and can result in injury or recurring niggles. Banhus Biomechanics Master Trainer Mark works through a systematic assessment of your body and how you move and prescribes any necessary exercises which are then incorporated into your training plan with your Banhus Coach to release your body to free movement.
We monitor your heart rate at every session to ensure you are working at the right intensity to get the maximum effects from your session. You receive an emailed report after every session showing how many calories you’ve burned, heart rate zones, training effects and more so you can track your progress with tangible results.
We offer a variety of services to suit all availability and budgets from 1/2hr or 1hr Personal Training sessions to small group classes. Each service is delivered with the same passion and consideration to optimise results and provide a challenge and sense of personal achievement.
We offer free consultations when you can come and take a look around the studio, meet us and chat about your health and fitness goals. We then offer a solution that fits into your life but there is no heavy selling, no buy now pressure or hassle. Personal Training sessions start from £20 for 1/2hr or £35 for 1hr. Classes are £5 per session and you can try one for free.
